Chassis:
The sixth and final R90C built ahead of the 1990 season, this car was not pressed into service until after Le Mans. Fielded by NISMO for Julian Bailey and Mark Blundell, it was raced five times in 1990 with a pair of second place finishes as the best result. At the end of the year, it was repatriated to Japan where it continued to race in local events. Modified with a twin-tier rear wing and re-liveried in FromA colours, it was campaigned through to 1993. Retained by Nissan Motorsports International, it was displayed for many years in the Nissan Heritage Collection museum. More recently, a Japanese historic racer managed to pry the car from the collection and had it completely rebuilt for historic by British specialist Phil Stott. He first raced the car at the 2018 Le Mans Classic where he lead the race until a puncture lead to a series of issues that saw the chances of victory fade away.
