Chassis:
Brazilian Alcides Diniz was the first owner of this DBR9. Fielded by the Capuava Racing Team, he fielded the car in the 2006 Mil Milhas at Interlagos. Diniz was joined behind the wheel by the all-star driver line-up of Pedro Lamy, Raul Boesel and Tony Kanaan. Sadly, the engine failed in practice and the car could not take the start. Sadly, Diniz passed away later that year and chassis 102 was not raced again in period. It was eventually repatriated to Europe and still in virtual as-new condition was offered by British dealer Fiskens in August of 2017. It was since acquired by a German enthusiast, who as campaigned the car in the Masters Endurance Legends and Endurance Racing Legends series.
