Chassis:
Originally delivered to the United States, this road-going RS200 was eventually acquired from a Colorado Ford dealer in 1989. After that, it was carefully stored in a controlled environment with an eye on preserving the car. It did not change hands again until 2017 and the next owner also carefully stored the car. As a result, it had only covered 8,400 miles when it was consigned to the January, 2019 RM Sotheby's Arizone sale.
