Chassis:
A very rare Series I BMW 507, this example was completed in July of 1957. Finished in a cream white, it was delivered to its first owner through the Munich dealership. The first custodian would own the car for less than a year as it was acquired by the second owner in April of 1958. The third owner purchased the car in 1963 and he would cherish the car for a much longer period and it did not change hands again until 2014. At some point during its early life, it had been painted the blue/green colour it still wears to this day. The fifth owner acquire this 507 in 2017 and had it meticulously prepared by BMW for the 2018 Tour Auto. Less than a year later, it was consigned to the Bonhams Grand Palais sale.
