This Toyota engined B43 was run in the 1978 Italian F3 Championship by the Trivellato Racing Team for Siegfried Stohr. He scored four victories that season and was crowned champion at the end of the year. It was the only major F3 championship that year not won by a Ralt driver. Sigi Stohr also raced this car in the blue ribband Monaco F3 race in 1978 and finished an impressive second to Elio de Angelis. Restored to its successful Trivellato livery, it has been raced in historic events by its British owner during the last two decades.
