Chassis:
One of several RSRs delivered as bare shells to important customers, this particular chassis was delivered new to Louis Meznarie. He was France's leading Porsche specialist and regular entrant, often with factory backing. Meznarie built up this 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 to field it in the 1975 Tour de France for Jacques Henry and Maurice Gelin. It was subsequently also raced in the 1976 and 1978 editions of the Tour de France and also in the Giro d'Italia in 1976. Sold by Meznarie at the end of the 1976, it remained in French ownership and was eventually placed in storage in 1986. The current custodian acquired the car in 2014 and had it completely restored to its 1975 Tour de France livery. It made its post restoration debut at the 2019 Espiritu de Montjuic.
