Chassis:
The second B98/10 built, this chassis was sold to Konrad Motorsport. The German team originally fitted the car with a twin-turbo Lotus V8. This engine proved troublesome at Daytona and Sebring and for Le Mans, it had been replaced by a Roush-tuned Ford small-block engine. At Le Mans, the Konrad B98/10 was raced by an all-Dutch line-up of Jan Lammers, Peter Kox and Tom Coronel. They qualified 22nd on the grid but were forced to retire with gearbox issues after 213 laps. The car was raced again at Daytona in 2000 and then at Monza but both times suffered engine issues. Chassis HU2 was not used again until the 2002 season, when it was raced at several rounds of the FIA SCC series by Eventus Motorsport. By the mid-2000s, it was in American ownership and used for historic racing. In the late 2010s, it was acquired by a French enthusiast, who raced it at Daytona and then shipped it back to Europe in time for the 2019 Espiritu de Montjuic. Here it was raced in the colours originally used by Konrad Motorsport at Le Mans in 1999.
