Chassis:
The 98th of 353 250 GTs built, this example was completed by Pinin Farina during the first half of 1959. It was finished in a silver grey with a red interior. Through Ferrari dealer Vincenzo Malago in Rome, it was sold to its first owner, who was also based in Rome. Like so many Ferraris of the day, chassis 1195GT was exported to the United States during the late 1960s. Following a longterm single ownership in Colorado, it was sold to France in 1987. During the early 1990s, it was given a mechanical restoration by famous Ferrari concessionaire Charles Pozzi, while the bodywork was repainted red by Carrosseria Lecoq. It then passed to a Norwegian transportation magnate before selling at auction in March of 2015. Four years later, it was consigned to the Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed sale where it failed to sell.
