Chassis:
Built early in 1993, this 911 Carrera RSR 3.8 was acquired new by the Swiss team Scuderia Chicco d'Oro. It was entered in that year's 24 hours of Le Mans for Olivier Haberthur, Charles Margueron and Claude Haldi. The two Swiss drivers qualified 34th and in what would be Haldi's last Le Mans outing finished 18th overall and 4th in the GT class. For the 1994 season, it was fitted with a Bi-Turbo engine and campaigned at Le Mans once more. Haberthur was now joined by Patrice Gouselard and Patrick Vuillaume but a turbocharger failure ended their charge early. Now restored to its original configuration, it is now fittingly owned by a Swiss historic racer, who campaigned the car in two Endurance Racing Legends races late in 2019.
