Shown at the 1950 Paris Motor Show, this was the third of three 166 Inters fitted with a Cabriolet body by Stabilimenti Farina. While the other two were slightly understated, this car was distinct due to its raked grille and abundance of chrome trim accents. Its first private owner was Swiss Formula 1 racing driver Baron Emmanuel 'Toulo' de Graffenried. At some point the car went into disrepair and ended up in a scrapyard. Fortunately, it was discovered by Swiss journalist Rob de la Rive Box in 1964. The remains were sold to the United Kingdom where it was restored using a 250 GT engine and fitted with a 166 Spyder Corsa inspired body. During the 1990s, this was replaced with a 166 MM Touring Barchetta style body that remained on the car until the mid 2010s. It was then finally restored to its original configuration on behalf of its Belgian owner. It made its post-restoration debut at the 2019 Chantilly Arts & Elegance.
