Chassis:
Fitted with the turbocharged Ford V8, this Mark 7 was entered in the 1969 Indy 500 by AAR for Denny Hulme. He ran as high as second until his clutch let go. Re-engined with the stock-block Ford V8, it then served as the team's entry for Swede Savage in several more races. It was entered at Indy again by Bud Morley but he did not make the start. It was raced again with a Chevrolet V8 in CART events during the 1980 season. Shortly thereafter, it was acquired by specialist Chuck Haines. He had the car restored by Walter Goodwin to its 1969 Indy 500 configuration. During the second half of the 2000s, it joined the collection of the late Doug Magnon and shown at the Riverside International Automotive Museum. From his estate, it was sold at auction by RM Sotheby's in 2016.
