Chassis:
Completed in the summer of 1954, this A6GCS/53 was sold new to Argentinean racer Carlo Tomasi. Finished in the national racing colours of blue with a yellow engine cover, it was raced by Tomasi in the Reims 12 Hours in 1954 and at Imola in 1955. The car was presumably brought back with Tomasi to Argentina, and ultimately resurfaced in American hands. It was sold to Germany and has since been fully restored for historic racing. Still in German hands and beautifully prepared by Mario Linke's Methusalem, it was raced at the 2018 Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
