Chassis:
Originally conceived as a road-going 365 GTB/4 Daytona, this car was converted to Group 4 specification for Luigi Chinetti's North American Racing Team (N.A.R.T.) by Sport-Auto in Modena during the first half of 1972. It was then entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Jean-Pierre Jarier and Claude Buchet. They finished ninth overall and fifth in the Group 4 class. Not raced again, it was sold to French collector Jean Verchere in 1974. He retained the car for two decades before it was sold to Lord Cowdray through Jean Guikas in 1995. He had the car restored by DK Engineering before selling it on to fellow Brit David Morrison in 1996. It changed hands again in 1997, when it joined the stable of a Swiss enthusiast. Between 1997 and 2005, he raced the car in the Ferrari Historic Challenge and then showed the car at Villa d'Este in 2017.
