Chassis M15/3 was the third and final McLaren M15 constructed. It was entered by the McLaren Cars team in the 1970 Indy 500 for American racer Carl Williams. He started his fifth Indy in a lowly 19th but gradually worked his way up the field to finish 9th. Rebuilt, chassis M15/3 was raced only once more before it was retired. In impeccable condition, this very early McLaren Indy racer is today part of the Donnington Grand Prix Collection.
