Chassis:
Through Crepaldi Automobili in Milan, this F40 was sold to a local industrialist. It was fitted with air conditioning, glass side windows and catalyst-equipped exhaust system. This was later replaced by a sports exhaust to improve breathing and soundtrack. The car changed hands for the first time in 1993 and again in 1998 but remained in Italy until 2012 when it was sold to the United Kingdom. Having received a comprehensive service in 2017, it was then consigned to the 2020 Bonhams Goodwood Speedweek sale with less than 18,000 km on the odometer.
