Chassis:
Built to full competition specification, this A3/C was entered in the 1964 24 Hours of Le Mans by Auguste Veuillet for the factory. As the model was not fully homologated, it was forced to race in the prototype class. Shared by Pierre Noblet and Edgar Berney, it finished fourteenth overall and fourth in class. It was raced throughout Europe through to the summer of 1965 with a fifth overall in the Monza 1000 km that year as one of the most noteworthy results. Following its contemporary racing career, it soon made its way to the United Kingdom where it joined the stable of its longtime custodian in 1974. It has since been raced and shown at a large number of events around the world.
