Chassis:
One of the last two-cam 275 GTBs, this example boasts the desirable long-nose bodywork and a torque-tube driveshaft. It was finished in the unusual colour of Rosso Chiaro with a red leather. Through Western America distributor Modern Classic Motors, it was delivered new to an enthusiast in Portland Oregon. It has remained in the family of the original owner's family. During this period, it was driven for just over 40,000 miles but was never restored, displayed or offered for public sale. The family finally decided to part with chassis 08863 and consigned it to the 2021 Gooding online-only Scottsdale Auctions.
