Chassis:
A second series 507 Roadster, this example was produced in 1958 and then most likely delivered new to its first owner through Max Hoffman. The original owner is not known but by the 1960s, it was in the hands of a Staten Island based enthusiast. During the the 1980s, a subsequent owner commissioned a sympathetic restoration and today the car features a period correct replacement engine. It then joined the stable of a prominent collector during the early 1990s. From this collection, and with many of the original components still left untouched, it was consigned to the 2021 Bonhams Scottsdale Auction.
