Chassis:
Completed in April of 1990, this is the 146th of the 500 Evolution II 190 E 2.5-16s built. Sold new to a German enthusiast, it was fitted with several options that included heated seats, power sunroof, rear speakers and a Panasonic radio with traffic bulletin decoder. The car remained in Germany for several years and was then sold to Japan. In 2015, it was sold to the United States, where it joined a formidable stable of homologation specials. Along with several other cars of the collection, it was consigned to the RM Sotheby's Arizona sale where it sold for well over the top estimate.
