Chassis:
One of 19 Evo 2 Turbo 16s built, this example was first pressed into service at the 1986 Rallye Monte Carlo. Driven by Timo Salonen and Seppo Harjanne, it finished second overall. A month later, an oil leak resulted in a premature end to the Rally Sweden. For the remainder of the season, it was only used as a Recce car. Between 1988 and 1990, it was raced to the European Rallycross Championship by Matti Alamäki. Fully rebuilt, it was then sold to Michel Hommel and shown at his Manoir de l'Automobile museum in Lohéac. Along with the other Group B cars in the collection, it was eventually consigned to the 2021 Artcurial Paris sale.
