Chassis:
Sold new to Japan, this McLaren F1 was finished in a unique metallic brown colour that was named Creighton Brown in reference to one of McLaren's executives. The interior was a mix of dark brown and light tan leathers that complement the one-off exterior well. Upon arriving in Japan, chassis 029 was placed in storage. It eventually made its way to the United States but by 2021 had still only covered 390 kilometres. Complete with the FACOM tool chest, titanium tool kit, fitted luggage, a TAG Heuer watch and the official Driving Ambition book, this lowest-mileage F1 in existence was consigned to headline the 2021 Gooding & Co. Pebble Beach Auctions. The pre-sale estimate was $15+ million and it eventually sold for a sale-topping $20.5 million.
