Completed in the fall of 1993, this Carrera RSR 3.8 was acquired new by American-based Porsche enthusiast Jochen Rohr. It was entered at the 1994 Daytona 24 Hours but an accident in practice prevented the new 911 from taking part in the race. It was repaired in time for the Sebring 12 Hours, where it finished third in class and eighth overall. Rohr raced the car for the remainder of the season, finishing second in class at Road Atlanta and third in class at Watkins Glen. Rohr did get to race the RSR at Daytona after all and finished fifth in class at the 1995 edition. The car was then sold on and the subsequent owners would campaign the car in North America through to the 2000 season. It competed in a total of 34 sanctioned races during its long career. Restored to its 1994 colours and livery, it was then sold to the United Kingdom. In 2017, it was slightly modified by BS Motorsport to make it road legal. Among the changes were the addition of a handbrake and indicator lights and the installation of a passenger seat. Despite its long racing career, it has survived with all the major components and body panels still in place. In 2021, it was offered for sale by Gooding & Co.'s private treaty department.
