Originally delivered to the New York City BMW importer, this 507 Roadster is believed to have been gifted by great 507 enthusiast Elvis Presley to his 1963 Fun in Acapulco co-star Ursula Andress. Presley had reportedly offered her one of his Cadillac Convertible on two occasions but the legendary Bond-girl refused and suggested he would gift her the 507 Roadster instead. She would own the car for fifteen years, during which time it was modified by George Barris, who lowered it and installed a nerf bar bumper. It was also fitted with a Ford 289 V8 and transmission at some point during Andrews' ownership. The next custodian was Mark Smith, who had it restored to its original configuration and also re-fitted a correct BMW V8 engine. The unique bumpers fitted by Barris were retained. It was later part of the Imperial Palace Collection and owned by the Lyon family before being acquired by a Swiss enthusiast. He showed it at the 2018 Concorso d'Eleganze Villa d'Este.
