Chassis:
Completed in 1959, this is one of the last Series II BMW 507 Roadsters built. Of the 218 examples built, its is one of just 15 that were finished in black. It was also supplied with a matching factory hard-top and a striking red interior. The original owner would hold on the car for a startling six decades, several of which it spent in storage on the owner's garage. Only recently discovered, this highly original, unrestored 507 Roadster was consigned by its second custodian to the 2022 Gooding Amelia Island sale.
