Chassis:
Commissioned through French Ferrari distributor Charles Pozzi, this F40 was built in the summer of 1989. It was ordered by Monegasque defense lawyer Étienne Léandri. He had the car finished in Rosso Corsa with matching bucket seats. It was the first in a line of Ferrari supercars he had built in the same colour combination that included a F50, an Enzo and a LaFerrari. Retained by Léandri until his passing, the F40 was maintained to the highest standards by Ferrari of Monaco. Offered from the Étienne Léandri estate, the single owner F40 was consigned to the 2022 Artcurial Retromobile sale with just 13,219 km on the odometer.
