Chassis:
As a bare shell, this 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 was delivered new to the Swiss Wicky Racing Team. After it was built up to full competition specifications, it was sold to Swiss racer Jean-Robert Corthay. During the 1975 season, the car was raced at Spa, Le Mans and Monza. The best result was a 10th overall at Monza. It was subsequently campaigned in a variety of rallies with Corthay finishing second in Rallye de Court. In 1976, he was even more successful, winning four rallies with the car. After another rally victory in 1977, chassis 004 0004 was entrusted to André Savary. In 1978, Savary added another victory to the car's tally in the Rallye Uri. At the end of the season, it was sold to a French enthusiast, who would go on to own the car for over 40 years. The current custodian acquired the car in 2020 and had it meticulously restored and prepared for historic racing.
