The second 'Evo' RS Spyder built, this example was campaigned by the Porsche Penske Racing team during the 2007 season as the #6 car for Ryan Briscoe and Sascha Maassen. They won the LMP2 class at St. Petersburg and won the Salt Lake City and Lime Rock races outright. In 2008, it was raced only twice, by Briscoe and Helio Castroneves. The Australian / Brazilian pairing finished fourth overall and first in class in the Petit Le Mans. It was then retired from active service and sold to a private collector. It was exercised at the 2015 and 2018 editions of the Rennsport Reunion. Having had just two private owners, it was consigned to the 2022 Pebble Beach Auctions.
