Chassis:
Completed in 1991, this F40 was sold to Brazilian Formula 1, Indy Car and sports car racer Roberto Moreno. He would own the car for 18 months before returning it to Maranello where it was offered for sale. It was sold to an enthusiast in Frankfurt and remained in Germany for many years. In 2011, it was sold to France where it was used for the Sport et Collection exhibition in 2013. Following a spell in Italian hands, it was sold to a Swiss collector during the late 2010s. It was comprehensively serviced by Modena Cars SA in Geneva in 2020. With just 9,400 km on the odometer, it was subsequently consigned to the 2022 RM Sotheby's Munich sale.
