Chassis:
Featured is one of only three Touring Cabriolets fitted on the SS spec chassis. s/n 915527 was built and stamped by the factory in 1943, but it was not delivered to its first owner in Switzerland until 1945 because of the Second World War. The other two SS Touring Cabriolets looked slightly different with the front lights mounted closer to the grill instead of mounted far out in the wings as seen in the featured example. Since a thorough restoration in Italy it has won several awards. It is pictured here at the 2002 Louis Vuitton Classic Concours d'Elegance at Parc de Bagatelle in Paris.
