Chassis:
Pictured above is one of the three Talbot 90 Works cars built for Fox & Nicholl for the 1930 season and the only completely original survivor. The three cars, PL2 - 4, were bodied in one week by Hoyal in Weybridge to be ready in time for Brooklands. At Le Mans it served as a back-up car, but then embarked on a successful racing career on the British isles with class wins at Brooklands and in the Irish Grand Prix. Still in its remarkable original condition and with the biggest provenance of all racing Talbots, 'PL2' is seen here in action during the 2006 Le Mans Classic in the first row of pictures. The next shots are kindly provided by the current owner and show PL2 racing in period at Le Mans, Brooklands and in the Ulster Trophy.
