Chassis:
Per the special request of Porsche Cars North America and Porsche Canada, Porsche produced an additional 17 examples of the 911 Turbo S with a conventional instead of the Flachbau nose. Simply known as the ‘Package’, this is one of the rarest Porsche 911 production cars. It was built in December of 1993 and finished in black with a black leather interior. Among the options fitted were heated and electronically adjustable seats, an electric sliding roof, a six-disc CD changer and 18-inch polished wheels. These additional features raised the sticker price with more than $17,000 to $119,837. Sold through Isringhausen Imports of Springfield, Illinois in February of 1994, the 911 Turbo S 3.6 ‘Package’ was cherished throughout its life. With just 5,619 miles on the odometer, it was consigned to the 2023 RM Sotheby’s Las Vegas auction.
