The seventh CLK GTR produced, this example featured a finish inspired by the Mille Miglia winning 300 SLR with an iridium silver exterior and an interior that included a blue-grey tartan upholstery. The car was completed on April 27 of 1999 and delivered to its Swiss owner the following month. The CLK GTR remained in Swiss hands until 2010 after which it joined a private German collection. It was then offered with 6,376 km on the odometer in 2017. The subsequent owner had it serviced by specialist SPS Automotive before it was shipped to the United States and federalized. The seventh CLK GTR then changed hands again in 2021 and was submitted to a $71,000 DK Engineering service. Once the work was completed, it starred in the ‘Ultimate Group Test’ video series alongside a Porsche 911 GT1 road car and a McLaren F1. Two years later, it was consigned as one of the headliners of the RM Sotheby’s Las Vegas sale with the odometer reading just 7,015 km.
