Chassis:
The second chassis produced for the 2009 season, this car was used for test and development purposes while the sister cars were raced in the United States with the BMW Rahal Letterman Racing team. The car helped the BMW Team Schnitzer prepare for the Nürburgring 24 Hours and 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was later also campaigned in VLN races on the Nürburgring in 2009 and 2010, scoring several podium finishes. Following its period racing career, it eventually made its way back into the Schnitzer Classic fold. Having sat dormant for a decade, it was restored for historic racing and appeared in the Endurance Racing Legends races that supported the 2024 Spa 24 Hours. It was driven to a class victory in the first race but sadly did not participate in the second.
