Chassis:
Delivered new to Maranello Concessionaires, this mid-production F40 was completed in February, 1991. Commissioned by UK-based Malaysian enthusiast Charles Chong, it was finished in red with matching seats. He retained the car for just a few months before selling it the William Loughran Ltd. dealership. It stayed on their lot for three years before the F40 was acquired by a long-term, London-based owner. It was used only sparingly but fastidiously maintained over the next 31 years. In 2025, it was consigned to the RM Sotheby’s London sale by only its second private owner with a mere 5,346 miles on the odometer.
