Chassis:
Completed in March of 1955, this 750 Monza was sold to Sicilian Luigi Bordonaro di Chiaramonte. Shortly after taking delivery, he debuted the car at the Giro di Sicilia, where he finished 19th overall. Later in the year, he was much more successful, winning several hill climb races. Later in the decade, it passed to another Palermo resident before it moved to the Italian mainland in 1962. Chassis 0530M was then quite fittingly displayed in the Autodromo di Monza until 1973. Among the subsequent owners were noted collectors like Dries van der Lof, José Segimon, Chris Drake, John Foulston. Following a brief spell in the United States, it was repatriated to Italy in 2000. In the hands of Brescia it was a regular competitor in the Mille Miglia retrospective during the next decade. During the early 2010s, it was sold back to the United States where it has remained ever since. The most recent custodian brought the car back to the Mille Miglia in 2025 and also raced it at the Le Mans Classic a few months later.
