Chassis: 0348MM
The penultimate 250 MM clothed by Vignale, chassis 0348MM was sold new to American Alfred Momo, who managed Briggs Cunningham's racing team. It was then sold or loaned to Cunningham's nephew Bill Lloyd but he did not race it. At the start of the 1954 season, it was entrusted to Phil Walters and John Fitch to race in the MacDill Air Force base races. They placed second in the preliminary race and third in the main event. The next custodian was Rich Lyeth, who extensively campaigned the car in the Mid-West well into the 1955 season. After acquiring a 375 MM, Lyeth sold the 250 MM to his neighbour, who in turn sold it to Charles and Audrey Saffell. The Saffells continued to campaign the car with considerable success through to 1957. Its last contemporary competitive outing came as late as 1959.

By 1964, chassis 0348MM joined the stable of discerning collector Ken Hutchinson. He would own the car for over two decades, until he eventually sold it with most of his cars to Bill Jacobs in 1985. He had it comprehensively restored by Wayne Obry's Motion Products. It was finished in a brighter shade of red than it had been originally. Among the subsequent owners were David Sydorick and Victor Muller. In 2005, it joined the collection of Manny del Arroz, who had it re-painted in a deeper shade of red. After showing and racing the car at several events, he sold it on in 2012. Not shown since, the next owner eventually consigned the car to the 2019 Gooding Scottsdale Auctions.
