Chassis:
One of an estimated seven Touring Spiders built on the long chassis, '412026' was delivered new to England. It had several enthusiastic British owners including an RAF pilot and a collector who also owned a road going Tipo B Grand Prix car at the same time. Eventually the car ended up in the United States where it was in the possession of the Le Mans legend and American Ferrari importer Luigi Chinetti for many years. He sold the car to the current owner halfway through the 1980s. Beautifully restored, it has been shown at Pebble Beach twice. Chassis 412026 is seen here at Pebble in 2005 when Alfa Romeo was the featured marque.
