Chassis:
Chassis 100-01 was the first of two Tipo 100s produced by ATS. It was used for five Grand Prix during the 1963 season by Phil Hill. The 1961 World Champion had a torrid season due to a lack of pace and reliability. He managed to reach the finish once in 100-01; 11th and 7 laps behind the winner at Monza. After the 1963 season the car was not used again but has survived. With the sister chassis converted to Derrington-Francis specification, it is the sole surviving ATS Formula 1 car in existence. In recent years it has been a regular fixture at the Goodwood Revival meetings, honouring the late Phil Hill in 2006.
