It�s really too bad this car wasn�t any good. It ended the promising GP career of Giancarlo Baghetti, and helped send Former World Champion Phil Hill back to sports car racing. But perhaps the worst consequence was that it denied the world greater quantities of the luscious ATS 2500 GT/GTS. It would�ve been interesting to see what Chiti would have come up with for �64 as he would have had a little more time (though no more money), but as it is, this car is only a footnote to a brave attempt to challenge Ferrari� |
