Chassis:
Chassis 005 was one of the M382s used by the works teams during the 1982 season. Liveried in the familiar Otis colours, it debuted at Silverstone where it was driven by Henri Pescarolo and Gordon Spice to a fifth place finish. At the Nürburgring Pescarolo and Rolf Stommelen crossed the line in second outright and first in the Group C class. At Le Mans the car failed to finish and the season was concluded with an eighth place at Spa. Restored to its original configuration, chassis 005 has been owned by a French collector for many years. The car is pictured here at the 2010 Retromobile show where it was offered for sale.
