Chassis:
The featured Fiat 8V is fitted with a special 'Competizione' engine. It is believed the only surviving example of the five originally built by Fiat. The distinguishing feature is the different carburetor setup; two quad-choke Webers instead of the two twin-choke examples on the 'regular' competition cars. Zagato is responsible for the exquisite 'double-bubble' aluminum coupe body. The car was extensively raced in its early years and has recently been completely restored and repainted its original white. Although originally rated at 127 bhp, the carefully rebuilt engine now develops around 170 bhp. It was subsequently shown at the 2009 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este where it won a best in class award.
