Chassis:
Chassis F1-5-64 was the second of three BT11s sold to privateers and the only one sporting the Climax FWMV V8 engine. It was acquired by Bob Anderson and raced under the DW Racing Enterprises banner. He had a relatively successful 1964 season, particularly for a privateer, with a 3rd, 6th and 7th place finish. The 1965 was an altogether different affair as Anderson failed to be classified in each of the six races he started. The final outing for F1-5-64 was in the practice of the German Grand Prix where a heavy crash ended the season prematurely for the BT11. The car has since been meticulously restored and is regularly campaigned with great success by an American enthusiast. He is seen here in action at Goodwood and Monaco, winning his races.
