Chassis 0301AL was the first of three Vignale bodied 375 Americas. All three of them were distinctly different. This example was delivered new to the United States. Among the various owners was Steve McQueen. During the early 2000s, the car was fully restored and painted an attractive gold. In 2005, it was shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Two years later, it was sold to the current owner at the Gooding Pebble Beach auction. A highly impressive $1,155,000 was the winning bid.
