Chassis:
Chassis 91/10 was the last of the batch of ten tubs built to Lotus' original composite chassis design. It debuted in the hands of Nigel Mansell at the US Grand Prix in Las Vegas. Underlining the strength of the design, it was later converted to Type 92 and even Type 94T specification with a Renault turbo engine. Retained by Lotus, it was restored to its original Type 91 specification and fielded by Classic Team Lotus. The car is seen here at the 2005 Silverstone Classic round of what was then the Thoroughbred Grand Prix championship.
