Gotten a ride? Sat in a few? How does that qualify you to pass judgment on this wonderful automotive creation? You must drive a Viper...on a track to truly experience it. It handles very well (even better than my '01 S2000, yes it's true) and has GOBS of power from 750rpm to 6000rpm. For anyone who disagrees with my remarks I'll be happy to take you for a spin if you're ever in Southern Arizona. ;) And a Corvette drives you but you must tame the Viper. Robert Bastian |

"To start off, i dont care if there cars that are faster than it, cheaper, better looking, or more comfortable the Viper will always be MY favorite. Ever since i saw the car as a little kid its been my favorite, even though i never drove it, i did see it in action a number of times. When people commented on it they said ""it gave a pull in their chest from the enormus accelaration the car had"", thats how strong the V-10 engine is. All in all that will always be my favorite car no matter what ANYBODY SAYS!" |

"i would have to say that this is todays king muscle car; or at least was. that title is now given to the redesigned viper srt-10. who buys a z06 for comfort? american muscle cars arent meant to be comfortable. theyre meant to be as uncomfortable as they are fast. muscle cars are for people who handle as much abuse as they can deal and thats what the viper does." |

"I've gotten a ride in a 1994 RT/10 and I've sat inside numerous GTSs... I'd take the more refined, comfortable and less expensive Corvette Z06 anyday. Sure on paper the Viper is quicker, but it's a TOY as one Viper owner I talked ot told me: ""You get sick of it a half hour at a time... especially the really poor ergonomics"" You can buy a Z06 for less money and drive it in comfort EVERY day and, it still beats the Viper around a racetrack! That being said the Viper is an AMAZING machine and I applaud Chrysler Corp. for having the balls to produce it!" |

I have never been in a dodge viper. But I have always been very interested in them. it has been one of my dreem cars for a long time. From what ive read it seems to be a very good car. Good performance. But mostly it has extremly good looks. If I had the a million dollers it would be one of the first cars I by. |
