| A fine tribute to the Daytona |
| darksidemonkey 05-14-2007 |
This is a beautiful, modernized tribute to one of the most beautiful sports/racing car ever built, the Daytona coupe. Bravo Ford! If they produce this as well as the GT and the Shelby Cobra, they are on the right path. Too bad it will surely be out of my price range :) |
| forget the Cobra Concept, build this! |
| Dan Flynn 08-09-2005 |
If the renewed Ford/Shelby partnership bears any fruit, it will hopefully be the GR-1. Compared to the Cobra Concept, it's a more original idea that's infinitely better looking than the rather blocky Cobra. Whereas the Cobra Concept would endure endless comparisons to the legendary original, the GR-1 can forge its own identity. With that gorgeous shape and a killer V-10, it won't have to exist in any other car's shadow! |
