Although I like the current MX-5 model, it certainly holds a softer appearence than the first generation. The incoming model retains its roots while bringing a little more to the playing field. At 160hp (some sources quote 170hp) the power output is not terrably striking. However, Mazda's focus with the new MX-5 (as it has been for the past two generations) is the driving experience. With dual exhast and a six-speed manual standard, it seems as though they have hit another home run. |
