The Saoutchik Roadster was most certainly a spectacular piece, and I thought RM did a goo presentation of it. I was a bit surprised that the bidding ended where it did, and that the reserve was met (or revised) at that price point. But then, it is unique enough that comparisons are difficult. I would say well bought. Cheers |

Normally I'm a big fan of Saoutchik's creations (ie-Pegaso's) but this one's a failure(in my opinion)....unique!, unusual!, yes.....Great?, No!........What ruins it for me is that Proboscis Monkey nose....Yuk! |
