    I think the 5.7lt HSV Blueprint engine that came in the VR GTS-R.

    Yeah thats are a favorite of mine Not sure but didn't a few HDT Brock Commodores get those?

    yeah i'd give it to chevy's small block v8's. they are baddd ass. nuff said. 500 horse 427 in the vette. 400 horse 350 in the GTO.

    Sorry sport this is only for DOMESTICS. Its not for aliens or non-Australians

    Besides, the mighty Holden V8 (may she RIP) was lighter than your iron Chevy smallblocks, more than equal in hp-per-cube, and sounded even better

    Hell yeah it sounded so bloody good, That is a Sound they can't get with the LS1 LS2.
    Even the VT1 SS sounds hot still.

    Agreed, and one more reason to choose the throaty Holden-engined VT1 over those low quality defect-prone, anaemic sounding Chevrolet LS1s fitted to VT2-on

    How many of these engines have roots solely in Australia? Meaning, developed without any influence from a foreign origined engine.

    Worldwide, very few engines would have been (or are) developed "without any influence from a foreign origined engine" imho
