    There's going to be murders

What the F**K was the referee playing at?

He gave a free kick to Portugal because Rooney's boot came off, where in the rules does it say that is the correct course of action?

He was extremely hard against England.

He disallowed a perfectly good goal, despite the fact that he couldn't have see clearly what happened. The linesman didn't see anything wrong with it, why didn't he defer his decision?

He then allowed Portugal to take the free kick from outside the goal area.

And what the hell was going on with that penalty spot?

The Host's go through then, not at all odd, or strange. (sceptic)

True, England weren't playing to win for a lot of the game, but when it mattered, they stepped up their performance, only to be shot down in flames.

I really am truely f**ked off about that goal.

Both of England's (allowed) goals were cracking efforts, Owen's was sheer genious.
    Thanks for all the fish

he's an overpaid, over-ponced soccer professional.

Rugby players have kicked an odd shaped ball off worse for decades.

Instead of looking back at the spot as if it was all IT'S fault, he should be thinking hard about whether he should have paid more attention !!!

that was sure a very intense and good game. i watched at a soccer cafe with a bunch of hardcore soccer fans who mostly rallied for Portugal, as did I.
i enjoyed the game and Portugal deserved to win.

Campbell's goal was not counted because there was a tackle against the keeper inside the 6 yard box, which is a "dont-touch-keeper" zone.

OH F**K OFF!, THERE was no tackle, terry jumped in the air (to jump up you have to swing your arms in the air) he jumped before he came in contact with the keeper, if anything Cambell fouled Terry...but that should matter.
It was a poor decion by the ref, and like coventrysucks said there was alot of other poor desicions in the game. England played well in the first half but then rooney came off the teams spirit droped, through the second half portugal were the better side but England defended like a world class team.
The penalty spot was Awful there had been complants to FIFA before the match about it, the grounds a sand based pitch the ground should have been prepared well before this tornemaent. England came back with a Lampards goal which i thought was Genius, england were still coming back. After the first goal by owen which was like no other ive seen before....i thought we were stronger enough to win and we should have that REFEREE IS A WANKER!

Great match! After first goal i thought England win, but they began to defend more than attack. It was their mistake. I didn't understand what happened with Rooney.
This match could be the Final. We will not see anything like this at the championship. Or... maybe...
    We'll see...

my congatulations to Portugal and regret to England.

England - Portugal really was a great game, I hope the other games will be just as good.
